Online Complaint Form
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- A copy of your complaint to the lawyer or firm
- A copy of any response(s) received
- Any key documents relating to the complaint.
You’ll need to upload these when completing the form. If you can’t upload them, you should email them to us immediately after submitting your complaint form.
Once we’ve received your form, you will be sent an automated response confirming your reference number, which you can quote if you need to email us.
If you don’t provide these, we won’t be able to proceed with your complaint. Even if you were not a client of the lawyer, you still need to complain directly to them first. This is an absolute requirement unless there are exceptional circumstances as to why you can’t or haven’t complained to them.
There is an option to save the form and return to it later. We will only receive your complaint once you press the 'submit' button.
If you save or submit an online complaint form, this information will be held by our website for 90 days before it is deleted. More information about data storage can be found in our privacy notice.
We aim to be in contact with you within 15 weeks of receiving your complaint form.

Once you have given us your email address, in most cases we will only be in contact with you by email. Please keep checking your junk mail or spam folders regularly so that you don't miss messages from us.
