IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE SCOTTISH ELECTION

Under the terms of the Legal Profession and Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 2007, we are required to lay our budget before the Scottish Parliament by 30 April of each year. However, as the Scottish Parliament is currently in recess pending the Scottish Election on 5 May, this is not possible.

The budget for 2011 - 2012 has been sent to the Scottish Government Learning and Justice Directorate and they will arrange to lay it before Ministers when the new cabinet has been appointed following the Scottish Election.

The SLCC will publish our budget for the next operational year when it has been laid before the Scottish Parliament.
