We cannot accept your handling complaint if more than six months have passed since the date of the final decision letter. There is no exception to this.
If the conduct complaint is still in the process of being investigated by the professional organisation, we cannot carry out a handling investigation. The only exceptions to this are if the professional organisation has unreasonably failed to start to investigate or has failed to complete an investigation within a reasonable time. If we decide that is the case, the parties involved in the ongoing investigation will be notified.
